Early Music Day in Ambronay on March 21!
Ambronay is offering a special evening dedicated to music from the late Middle Ages and the early Renaissance.
3 ensembles will perform and wander from 6pm to 9pm in different places of the Ambronay Abbey, revealing the multiple facets of this music, sometimes delicate and grandiose, sometimes intimate and festive : Sollazzo ensemble (two fiddle and a soprano), Les Haulx Ménestriers (14th, 15th and 16th century music, songs and dances) and the Romain Bockler/Bor Zuljan duo (songs by Josquin des Prés for voice and lute).
We will prolong the pleasure of these musical moments over a drink to exchange with the artists.
